AAL'S EXPERIMENTAL ART SPACE "PILOT" UNVEILS EXHIBITION "BDO YOUNG ARTISTS AWARD 2021”

On Friday, January 7, at 4 p.m., the opening of the exhibition "BDO Young Artists Awards 2021" and the announcement of the winner of the competition will take place at the Art Academy of Latvia's Experimental Art Space "Pilot."

The exhibition will feature the works of seven finalists of the "BDO Young Artists Award 2021" contest to compete for a cash prize of 2,000 euros.

Authors and works nominated for the award:

"BDO Young Artists Award" is organized by "BDO Latvia" in cooperation with the Art Academy of Latvia, Kim? Contemporary Art Center, and the experimental art space Pilot. The award aims to support young artists after the completion of their master's degree in one of the departments of visual arts, audio-visual media art, or design by providing recognition and financial reward.

The exhibition will be open from January 8 to February 28. Opening hours are from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. from Tuesday to Saturday (closed on Sundays, Mondays). Address: Riga, Riharda Vagnera Street 3.

Per the government's decisions during an emergency, visitors must present a Covid-19 vaccination certificate or recovery certificate. Face masks must be used indoors.
