The exhibition "In Transit", is on view from April 4 in the experimental art space PILOT of the Art Academy of Latvia. The exhibition takes place within the framework of the 100th anniversary of the Ceramic Department of Art Academy of Latvia.

From April 29th to May 8th, the Art Academy of Latvia will host the spring semester exhibitions. The extensive event program offers the opportunity to explore the latest study results in art and design over two weeks in two academy buildings. Everyone interested is invited to attend the exhibitions. Address: 13 Kalpaka Boulevard, Kronvalda Boulevard 4, Riga. Academy doors close on 1st and 4th, 5th, and 6th of May.

On May 30th, at 19:00, the annual Fashion Show of the Art Academy of Latvia will take place at VEF Quarter's Vasarnīca, showcasing the achievements of this year's best Fashion Design specialization students.

In total, 18 collections will be presented. This year, the collections of young fashion designers will be dominated by childhood memories and nostalgic personal stories, issues of equality, and creatively sustainable design solutions.

The AAL Fashion Show is one of the largest and most significant platforms for new fashion and design in Latvia, promoting the development of the fashion industry and representing the creative achievements of fashion design students for the thirtieth consecutive year.

The Fashion Show traditionally kicks off the extensive event cycle of the AAL Design Department. The Design Day exhibition, taking place from June 6th to July 14th, will showcase the best works of all Design Department specializations. During the exhibition period, several international and local guest lectures, workshops, presentations, and the premiere of last year's LMA Fashion Show film "Kliedziens" will take place.
